On
Wednesdays in July the doors of the Laboratorio Danza Verona school, which is
located inside the Giusti Garden, will open becoming one with the external
nature. The garden, in its last two hours of opening, will become a space where
pupils can practice and dance, appropriating the place that for decades has
linked its history to that of the School.
The School was founded in 1975 by Luciana Novaro, prima ballerina of La Scala Theatre in Milan and an internationally renowned étoile, choosing as its seat the little red house that was originally the home of the keeper of the garden. Since 1990 the direction of the School has been entrusted to Tiziana Di Nardo, Novaro's first student and collaborator. Since 2019 the School and Garden have been actively collaborating to strengthen and pass on the link between different art forms.
